We're almost there!!

The website is almost ready to launch! I still need to figure out a few things before the Snowpuk shop is open as well. But that will happen soon!

Also the Video Tutorial page will happen in the near future. I need some tutorials first to put on the page. As it's now a blank page!

In the meantime, when I'm not behind my laptop working on the site, I'm getting the house ready for Christmas! The countdown has officially started. The kids are super excited and so am I. I just love Christmas!!!

The tree is up and decorated. Every year the quest for the perfect, out of the way spot happens. We have moved a lot in the last couple of years, so we haven't found the perfect spot until now!! It's perfect. Especially since we have a pup in the house!

I have a lot of handmade and fabric decorations. Felted hearts, fabric angels, glass baubles with fibres.

And off course my babies first Christmas ornaments. We almost lost them in our last move, from Ireland back to the Netherlands. I'm so happy to still have them!

The stockings are up, on the garden glass door. Because we don't have a fireplace :(

There are lights every where!

The kids are real Christmas babies. They love the lights. Especially the boy. He has a thing for lights. He has a gazilion torches, toys with lights and he loves fire and fireworks (except for the sound). Every year, when it's time to take down the decorations again, we have a very, very sad boy. A lot of begging, screaming and crying happens when the boxes appear again. We help him transition by leaving him a few lights and let him help pack it up again. This helps a bit.

This year I'm trying out something new. A tree for him alone, and off course one for his sister. And this tree doesn't have to go when the big tree goes. He decorated it himself and he loves it. He choose the colours himself. Very funny, because he went for pink, purple and gold. While his sister chose green, blue and gold.

I have made a Christmas wall in the kitchen, with wooden, whitewashed cut outs and we stuck them on the wall together.

Lots of deer and fairy lights. I especially love my deer candles. The boy wants to light them, but no, no, no, not mammie's deer candles.

So we are ready for Christmas. And a bit of snow would be nice too.

xoxoxo
